CORONATIONVILLE – The hospital welcomed 31 babies on the day.
Rahima Moosa Mother and Child Hospital welcomed 31 babies on New Year’s Day.
The MEC of Health Dr Nomathemba Mokgethi visited the hospital on the day together with the hospital’s CEO Dr Nozuko Mkabayi. Together they welcomed the babies born on the day and presented the mothers with gifts for their little ones.
As health education is important, mothers were told of the importance of breastfeeding their babies and were encouraged to enjoy motherhood and look after their babies.
Mkabayi concluded to encourage all mothers to eat healthily and to enjoy the time with their little ones.
She also urged all mothers to get vaccinated against Covid-19 to protect themselves and their families.
