New year, new wish list for Chic Mamas

LINDEN – Non-profit organisation, Chic Mamas Do Care Jozi share their 2022 wish list.

It’s a brand new year and you know what that means, everyone is setting new goals of all the things they hope to achieve in 2022.

Non-profit organisation, Chic Mamas Do Care Jozi, is a volunteer-based, purpose-led brand founded on sustainable fashion that sells and swaps good quality pre-loved clothing. This in efforts to support pre-schools, literacy and numeracy projects, as well as early childhood development centres. Their wish for the new year is for them to gain more shoppers and keep getting donations which enables them to do what they do.

Volunteer, Karen Harvey, said along with that, they hope that in 2022 they become a household name. “Also, we would love to break all our sales targets, in terms of donations towards early childhood development,” she said.

For this to happen, they need the community to keep donating good quality pre-loved clothing in good condition. They also hope to gain a diverse group of volunteers for their team who would be ‘Chic ambassadors who could spread our mission further and make our caring community bigger’.
