Due to the pandemic, school camps could not take place this year, but that didn’t stop the fun, team-building activities taking place on the school’s junior high campus.

The Grade 7, 8 and 9 classes took part in a wide range of activities teaching them how to work in teams. It has been said that activities like team building among learners can encourage them to problem solve and work together to complete a common goal.

The day’s activities were arranged by Crowd Creators, an organisation that specialises in team building.
Grade 8 learner, Dakarai Zhoy, said “The camp day was really fantastic. The facilitators were very interactive. The activities were great for team building and we got to work with people we didn’t know well. We really enjoyed the ‘camp at school’ and got to try the new obstacles. Thank you, Crowd Creators!”

The school’s head of junior high, Colette Marx, said the activities provided were fun and were hosted with great energy for the learners to enjoy, “Activities ranged from drumming to human foosball and learners loved every second of this well-planned, exciting programme. What a great opportunity for our pupils to reconnect and recharge.”
