De La Salle Holy Cross College Junior School recently celebrated the musical talents of their learners.
On this particular day at the school, more than just the infectious laughs of children gathering on the school grounds, one could also hear the musical efforts of some talented young musicians.
The marimba and ukulele players, djembe drummers, pianists along cellists, were invited to participate in the celebration of music. The school’s director of music commended the musicians for all their efforts and for their many hours of practice as well as for their bravery for playing on stage.
The school certainly saw it as a necessary reminder that music has the ability to uplift their spirits even in the darkest of times.
