New sector 3 manager takes the reigns. Constable Sebogodi Franklin Mochaliane of Brixton Police Station has been appointed as the new Sector 3 manager.
Sector 3 includes Brixton, Crosby, Langlaagte North, Mayfair, Mayfair West, and Slovo Informal Settlement. Brixton police spokesperson Jeanette Backhoff described the new sector manager as an officer who is already known to many people in the community.
“His main aim and prime role will be to ensure that there is open communication between the community, business owners and police and to listen to the problems they are experiencing regarding crime and to make sure their problems are addressed.”
Mochaliane has set his short-term and long-term goals around increasing the collaborative effort in the community to ensure a reduction in crime.
