The public libraries of the City of Johannesburg have officially opened today, 8 March.
The libraries that will remain closed or offer limited services are those ones that have maintenance challenges or ventilation and repair problems, or lack of PPE.

A list of those libraries has been posted on the Library Facebook.
The City has stated that every effort would be made to reinstate all service points.
