Linden Police Station commander looks ahead to 2021

LINDEN – Linden Police Station commander Colonel Ahmed Musthan thanks all roleplayers who supported the fight against crime in 2020.

Linden Police Station commander Colonel Ahmed Musthan hoped that stronger community engagement could be one of the greatest driving forces in the station’s fight against crime in 2021.

He writes:

I would like to thank all role-players and members of the community who assisted this station in the fight against crime, in particular all security companies who served as an integral force multiplier during station operations for 2020.

We hope to begin 2021 by maintaining a steady decrease in all crime categories that plagued this precinct, and by further improving our relationship with our external role-players and the community at large.
It is quite clear that this year the Covid-19 pandemic has and is impacting greatly on the day to day functioning of this station.

But as a station we remain committed to providing service to our community that is professional and of a high standard despite these difficult times.

We had a fantastic relationship with our community members in 2020, CPF and security companies. Working together, we saw a reduction in our crime statistics at the station. This is a relationship that I hope to continue into 2021, and I strongly encourage all community members to engage in topics about crime with their community.

My heart is in this community and station, and my vow for 2021 is to reduce the crime in our area and make Linden a safer area for all.
