Cable fault causes power cut in Northcliff

NORTHCLIFF – City Power technicians are currently on-site working on restoring power in the affected areas.

City Power is aware of a power outage affecting parts of Northcliff due to an MV cable fault. Power has been off since earlier today (16 October).

According to City Power, technicians are currently on-site working on restoration. The affected streets/roads are Amanda Street, Norman Drive and Weltevreden Road.

The utility said the estimated time of restoration (ETR) will only be available once the fault has been located by the test department. They apologised for any inconveniences this may have caused.
