No lost or stolen phones with Beagle Watch around

NORTHCLIFF – Response officer saves man the effort of setting up a new phone.

The fear of losing your phone stems from the thought of losing all your personal information, cherished memories in your photo gallery, the contact details of friends, family and colleagues and the process of reloading a new phone with all of these.

One lucky man in Northcliff avoided this thanks to Beagle Watch personnel. Response officer Lucky Sitholimela saved the day for a Northcliff resident who had lost his cell phone while out and about in the neighbourhood.

According to the security company, Sitholimela was patrolling along Maluti Avenue on the afternoon of 9 February when he found an iPhone. He promptly took it back to the company’s control centre in Fairland and handed it over to the manager on duty. Before the manager could take any further action, the phone rang and on the other end of the line was the wife of the phone’s owner. She explained that her husband had lost the phone along Maluti Avenue. Arrangements were then made for a reunion of the phone and its owner at the company’s offices.

André Aiton, the company’s general manager, said while he was justly proud of Sitholimela, he would not have expected anything less. He added, “Our response officers are hand-picked, highly trained, and adhere to the Beagle Watch Ethical Code of Conduct of honesty, integrity, and caring for the community and our clients, their property and their loved ones.”
