De La Salle Holy Cross College Junior School loves reading

VICTORY PARK – De La Salle Holy Cross College Junior School spent Valentine's Day showing their love for books by reading out aloud.

Two loves united at De La Salle Holy Cross College Junior School on 14 February when the children enjoyed not only spending the day surrounded by love but came together through the love of reading too.

The school was awash in shades of red, pink and white as the children enjoyed wearing civvies on Valentine’s Day. The joys of the day kept coming as it was also World Read Aloud Day, so all the older children were paired up with the younger ones to read storybooks to them.

There was not a picture book left in the library and a wonderful day was had by all. Children enjoyed an afternoon of reading aloud as they sat spread out on the garden as they delighted a blissful day together gaining new insights and making new friends around the school.
