Residents called to attend the final community meetings for 2019

JOBURG – End off 2019 by attending your local RA or CPF meeting.

Residents associations and CPFs preparing for their final meetings of the year.

Calling all residents of all communities, residents associations (RA), Community Policing Forums (CPF) and community groups will be hosting their last meetings for the year and your attendance has been requested. Some will be hosting their annual general meetings while others will be voting for the executive team that will take them forward in 2020.

Many have sacrificed their time and resources to look out for the community’s best interests and all they are asking for in return is your attendance. At these meetings issues such as safety and security, rates and taxes, by-law infringements, City of Johannesburg queries and others are discussed. Fundraising is also discussed to help provide money to keep the community clean and beautiful. Residents also get to meet each other and familiarise themselves with the relevant structures in the area. The attendance of every resident is therefore extremely vital.

Meeting dates and venue

General public meeting, 12 November, 6.30pm, Mosaiek Church

Annual general meeting, 19 November, 6.30pm Mosaiek Church (Executive committee members elections)

Public meeting, 21 November, 6pm, Parkview Police Station

Special election meeting, 19 November, 7pm, Roosevelt Park (Executive committee members elections)

These RAs, CPS and groups are urging all residents in their area to support them by attending the last few meetings of the year to end off 2019.
