Construction in and out of Linden’s Pinnacle College are on track

LINDEN – The new school have improved roads as part of their building plans.

 


Pinnacle College is on track for its construction completion date. Construction vehicles and staff have been going in and out of the building site on 11th Avenue in Linden but the end is in sight. Pinnacle College, which will open their doors to their first batch of learners in January 2020, has been hard at work to ensure that they open those doors on time.

The school hosted a site tour on 20 September to show the progress they have Pinnacle College is on track for its construction completion date. Construction vehicles and staff have been going in and out of the building site on 11th Avenue in Linden but the end is in sight. Pinnacle College, which will open their doors to their first batch of learners in January 2020, has been hard at work to ensure that they open those doors on time.e made and, by the look of things, they will meet their date of completion scheduled for October.

The project to build the new school was an extremely interesting one as they had to preserve a lot of the remaining buildings on the site. These buildings are of significant heritage value and therefore could not be completely removed or reworked. The Pinnacle College team have preserved these buildings and included their original designs for classroom and office usage. In addition to the heritage buildings, they also decided to keep many of the trees on the property. Some of these trees are over 100 years old.

Pinnacle College has also been hard at work to improve some of the roads around the school. A new traffic circle is currently being built on the corners of 4th Avenue and 11 Street and Tana Road and 5th Avenue. This is being done to ensure that traffic will continue to flow smoothly once the school starts its academic year.
