Security expo a great success

MONTGOMERY PARK – MMC Michael Sun attends communities safety and security expo.

The public’s biggest concern when out and about and at home has to be whether or not they, their loved ones and belongings are safe.

Many members of the public are unaware of the system which is community safety and security.

In an attempt to address this matter, the Sophiatown Sector 3 Crime Forum held a security expo on 20 July to bring the role players in this field in contact with residents and business. What would a community safety and security expo be without the MMC for Public Safety Michael Sun making an appearance? He arrived at the event shortly after 12pm and spoke to various members of the community and engaged with all entities present. Sophiatown Police Station’s new station commander, Brigadier Alfred Ndebele also made a stop at the expo on the day.
