Don’t miss Sophiatown Sector 3 Crime Forum’s security expo on 20 July
MONTGOMERY PARK – Join various security stakeholders from 10.00 am until 15.00 pm at the expo.
The Sophiatown Sector 3 Crime Forum in partnership with the Sophiatown Police Station will host a security expo with various City of Joburg departments and security companies on 20 July, from 10am to 3pm.
The expo will be held on the corner of John Adamson and Milner Road, Montgomery Park. The new station commander of Sophiatown Police Station Brigadier Alfred Ndebele will be there for a meet-and-greet at the police stand on the day.
Linda Verwey, public relations officer for the Sophiatown Sector 3 Crime Forum said, “The expo is about making people aware of the different sector crime forums. The day is about security awareness in our communities and residents being pro-active.
“It’s important for people to know who to ask for help. They will get safety tips at the expo and it will be interactive for the community to get to know the varies stakeholders.”
There will be exhibitors and demonstrations during the day including the K9 Unit.
