TKZee to headline Huawei Joburg Day
EMMARENTIA – Join TKZee as they celebrate the 22nd anniversary of their iconic Halloween Album at Huawei Joburg Day.
EMMARENTIA – Huawei Joburg Day is set to rock Emmarentia Botanical Gardens on 4 May.
It’s that time of the year again where Huawei and 94.7 FM team up to bring the city its favourite day. Huawei Joburg Day is heading to Emmarentia Botanical Gardens with a mission to have their third straight musical festival and experience. In the past, artists such as Lady Zamar and AKA have headlined the show and this year they will bring the legendary TKZee to headline the Huawei Joburg Day in the park.
As TKZee take to the Huawei Joburg Day stage for the first time, they will have their fans reliving their 90s memories as they perform hits from their iconic Halloween album. This year marks the 22nd anniversary of the album’s debut. Halloween became a massive commercial cross-over success and is one of the biggest selling South African albums of all-time. Apart from TKZee, Holly Rey, Sho Madjozi, Micasa, Prince Kaybee, Mathew Mole, Beatenberg, Tresor and many others will take turns sending their fans into a state of euphoria with their performances.
Huawei Joburg Day in the park has become a major showcase of excellence in the South African music industry and gives fans a chance to support and to experience with their music icons, in a live environment. It has also become more than a music festival, it’s a chance for Joburgers and visitors to the city to have a day of new connections, memories and experiences.
Tickets for the event are still available at Ticket Pro and will cost R350 for adults, with groups of four at R1 200. Tickets for children (three–12 years old) will cost R150.
Gates open at 9am and the first performance is at 10am.
