A lively fabulous theatre experience with Seussical the Musical Jr

BRAAMFONTEIN – Dr Seuss has been a favourite children's author for over 60 years and is loved worldwide, mixing entertainment and education.


BRAAMFONTEIN – Situated in the Joburg Theatre complex, The Peoples Theatre showcased the first show for Seussical the Musical Jr.

The musical’s first debut was in the USA in 2000 and has toured the world over and now has made its way to the Peoples Theatre. Seussical the Musical Jr. runs throughout the school holidays, with the final performance on 28 April.

Based on the Dr Seuss books, the musical draws its characters from a number of books, with most of the play being based on Horton Hears a Who! It is filled with lots of music, laughter and fun.

Horton, a lovable to the end character is a kind-hearted elephant hero with an important message – we all matter, ‘no matter how small’. The musical brings children, parents and all those with a love of joy and laughter, together for a rollicking theatre experience.
