#DiaperDrive a success!

LINDEN – The Wolf Wolf shop from January has been a drop-off point for diapers being collected to be donated to various charity organisations.

LINDEN – Kindness like Confetti in conjunction with the Wolf Wolf shop and The Hakuna Matata House collaborated for the #DiaperDrive by collecting diapers and nappies from early January this year at the Wolf Wolf shop.

The three parties came together on 4 March to count all nappies and baby wipes collected. This year they collected 6 255 nappies and 74 packets of baby wipes, and the ladies divided the goods into three piles to be donated to different charities of their choice.

This is the second year of the drive and Kindness like Confetti will be donating to the Baby Box Project and Florida Baby House.

The Hakuna Matata House will donate to Nazareth House in Yeoville and Door of Hope. The Wolf Wolf shop will donate to Hotel Hope and the Grace Factory.

Alyson Samson of Kindness like Confetti said, “Lessons learned are that January is a difficult month to collect an expensive item such as this. We will definitely repeat this project but shift to a different time of year.”
