The Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department’s (JMPD) work has seen countries in Africa, like Malawi, want to know more.
This has led a Malawian delegation on Wednesday to visit the JMPD headquarters for a study tour on how it was established. The JMPD manages and coordinates the City’s crime prevention strategy, which includes: Preventative policing and patrolling of high-risk areas.
JMPD Chief, David Tembe, took to Twitter to post about the meeting they had with the delegation of Malawi.
The @JoburgMPD welcomes the opportunity to share information with the Malawi Delegation about the JMPD strategies and Practices.
The study tour will benefit both sides as we share best practices. https://t.co/IpddHfiIqK
