On 3 January the IEB released matric results for all private institutions and De La Salle Holy Cross College were happy to carry on with their 100 per cent pass rate streak of 32 years.
Matric learners of last year and their parents celebrated the good news as they came to the school to fetch hard copies of their results. The results, which are published by IEB, were already available for the learners at midnight on 3 January.
“It has been another exceptional year for the Class of 2018 and their teachers. My hope is that our pupils learn to enjoy the journey that they are about to embark on and continue to find the right mountains to conquer with kindness, patience and resilience – praesis ut prosis,” said Atholl Murray the headmaster of De La Salle Holy Cross College.
The De La Salle Holy Cross College achieved an average of 2.4 subject distinctions per candidate, there was a total of 176 distinctions and the grade average percentage mark for the exams was 73 per cent.
The top two learners at De La Salle Holy Cross College were Jenna Beckenstrater and Mufaro Nduku who achieved eight distinctions respectively.
