For all the youth, elderly, animals and women – this is for you

JOBURG – Boxes and bags are going to be distributed to all people and animals in need.

This year, The Workspace, Randburg, together with Kindness like Confetti decided to host a Christmas shoebox/gift initiative.

They have requested the generosity of their clients, community, friends and family to sponsor and decorate a shoebox/gift bag or to donate a few items of women’s clothing for abused and abandoned women. The initiative is for both the young and elderly.

This year’s gift box drive is fuelled by the passion of their Randburg branch manager, Danielle Houseman. Inspired by her grandmother, who passed away in 2011, she began her own project, collecting items and assembling boxes to donate to those in need. Last Christmas, she managed to collect and distribute 3 000 boxes.

They want to make it easy for everyone to come together and donate items, so they offered their branches as drop-off centres.

Together they have so far collected 751 boxes that they will distribute.
