Residents around Northcliff to have 8-hour power outage
JOBURG – Don't be left in the dark, prepare for the 8-hour power outage coming on 30 October.
Multiple suburbs will be affected by City Power’s planned power interruption on 30 October.
City Power is alerting residents of their planned power interruption scheduled to take place on 30 October this year. According to the city’s power entity, the interruption is necessary to perform essential maintenance work on their network. The interruption will take place from 7am until 3pm.
The suburbs affected by the power interruption are:
• Albertskroon
• Berario
• Blackheath
• Blackheath Ext 1, 2 and 7
• Emmarentia
• Fairland
• Franklin Roosevelt Park
• Franklin Roosevelt Park Ext 1
• Linden
• Montgomery Park
• Montgomery Park Extn 3
• Montroux
• Northcliff
• Northcliff Ext 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, 25, 26 and 33
• Pine Park
• Risdale
• Waterval Estate.
City Power has warned residents to treat their electricity supply points as live at all times as power can be restored at any time. They also apologise for any inconveniences this interruption may cause.
