Residents of Elm Park spoilt with High Tea

NORTHCLIFF – The high tea included a special musical performance to entertain the guests.

It was a morning of enjoyment for all at Elm Park Village’s high tea for their residents and partners.

Flower Foundation Retirement Homes hosted their first ever high tea for their residents and partners as a way to strengthen the relationships between the two.

Gert Coetzee, manager of Elm Park said, “This high tea was to say thank you to our residents and to the people that do work within our little community.”

Nursing services manager at Elm Park Village, Hanlie Eksteen believes the event was a huge success.

Guests were seen enjoying the beverages and meals served to them at beautifully decorated tables with a special music performance taking place.

The high tea also served as a chance to introduce prospective residents into Realnet Properties.

This property company offers a specialised service to the elderly.

The service is centred on ensuring that eldery people looking to sell their homes aren’t taken advantage of in the property market and to advise them on which retirement home they should consider.

Manager of Elm Park Gert Coetzee ensures that every glass has champagne at the high tea.

Principal and branch manager of Realnet Randburg, Julie Fredericks said “We are giving back to a neglected part of society by assisting them when they decide to move from their own property to an old age home. We make sure they get into a sheltered environment and help them avoid being a victim of sinister business deals.”
