The body of a newborn baby was found in a concrete bin on the corner of Barry Hertzog Avenue and Linden Road in Emmarentia on the afternoon of 27 September.
Paramedics were alerted and upon their arrival, they discovered that the newborn showed no signs of life.
The baby was declared dead on the scene.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to our paramedics, but police will be investigating the matter.
