The best of the best when it comes to the knowledge of Israel recently went head to head in the Israel Quiz.
King David Victory Park High School continued their annual run of domination at the quiz as their learners walked away with the top four spots. Nirvana Rogers of the school said, “Our participants brought immense pride to our school showing tremendous knowledge in a very challenging competition about the history and the current affairs of Israel.”
Of the 10 finalists that were selected for the quiz, six of them hailed from King David Victory Park, an achievement that the school recognises and celebrates.
The winners were as follows:
- 1st place – Liron Krawitz (Grade 8)
- 2nd place – Jonah Kollenberg (Grade 10)
- 3rd place – Dannica De Aguiar (Grade 9)
- 4th place – Judd Israelsohn (Grade 10).
Amira Karstaedt and Warrick Hirson deserved a mention as well as they also displayed impeccable knowledge on the questions asked.
Rogers ended, “King David High School Victory Park remains comprehensively strong in this competition and were proud to have so many participants in this year’s finals and achieve all the top winning places.”
