Joburg Water attending to water challenges in Melville
MELVILLE – Joburg Water is currently attending to water challenges in the area.
Residents and business are urged to take note of the unplanned water interruptions by Joburg Water.
Joburg Water released a statement on the morning of 23 August to inform people in Melville of an unplanned water interruption.
Isaac Dhludhlu, spokesperson of Joburg Water said, “We are aware of the interrupted water supply. A team will be dispatched to conduct an investigation. We will provide updates throughout the day.”
Details of the water interruption are still unclear due to the fact that Joburg Water is still trying to establish the cause and attend to the problem at the same time.
Dhludhlu added, “Currently we can’t speculate about the cause of the outage until our teams confirm.”
Joburg Water advises residents to subscribe to their website and SMS notification service for alerts on planned or unplanned service interruptions.
