#MandelaDay: Thunder Gun Restaurant to donate R67 from every main meal

BLACKHEATH – An opportunity to dine and do your bit for Mandela Day.

In the spirit of Mandela Day, a local restaurant will be joining the global acts of selflessness that will take place.

Owner of Thunder Gun Restaurant, Paul McNab said “On Mandela Day [18 July] we will be giving back to the community by donating R67 from every main meal ordered on the day.

The money will be donated to the Let’s Work initiative run by Felicity Lawlor.”

He said that donating to the Let’s Work fund means that customers are directly contributing to helping the community.

McNab is a regular contributor to the initiative that benefits the community in various ways such as giving employment to individuals who are willing and able to work and keeping the area clean and tidy.

McNab urges his loyal customers, residents in the community, people that work in the area and people looking to go out for a meal on Mandela Day to help give back to the community while enjoying a five-star meal.

Find the restaurant at 281 Beyers Naude Drive and Lewisham Road, Blackheath.
