Worry over missing teenager who ‘did not take her medication’ after leaving home

BRIXTON – Teenager has been missing for more than a week

A missing person’s report has been opened at the Brixton Police Station to try and establish the whereabouts of 16-year-old Nelly Kamogelo Mamabolo.

Nelly didn’t return home after she dropped off her younger siblings at crèche on the morning of 20 June in Vrededorp. She was wearing a maroon T-shirt, faded blue jeans, black pumps and a Langlaagte Technical High School cap.

Nelly’s family is concerned because she suffers from a variety of illnesses such as asthma and high blood pressure as well as a thyroid and kidney condition. She did not take any of her medication when she left home.
