Photos of three foetuses being held by a Johannesburg Water employee have been doing the rounds on social media.
The photos show the man holding the three foetuses that were seemingly found at one of the entity’s sites. The photos show they are no bigger than the man’s hands.
People sharing the photos are alluding to illegal abortion, condemning the act.
Johannesburg Water’s spokesperson, Isaac Dhludhlu, confirmed that the entity is aware of the photos and that they are looking into the matter.
“We will find this employee for more information on this particular case,” he told Randburg Sun.
Dhludhlu also said that employees often come across these ‘despicable incidents’.
