Ward 69 councillor, Genevieve Sherman is calling on all residents in her ward to join one of her first public meetings for the year which will be held on 8 February at 6.30pm at Westbury Recreation Centre.
Ward 69 falls under Region B of the City of Johannesburg and includes Westdene, Rossmore, small sections of Hurst Hill, Westbury, Brixton and Coronationville.
In the meeting, various items on Sherman’s agenda will be discussed including the introduction of the Westbury Mabaleng Sports Complex by the Department of Infrastructure Development (Did).
The processes regarding the appointment of Small to Medium Enterprises as well as the appointment of general workers will be discussed.
Lastly, the ward’s community liaison officer advert will also be discussed.
Sherman urged residents to attend the meeting to stay informed about the latest happenings in the ward.
