The Brixton community is pooling their skills and money together to host a community holiday market.
The event will be held on 25 November at the Kingston Frost Park and is open to residents in others communities as well.

The community market is used as a way to fund other community events and activities in the Brixton area which includes clean-ups, park days, community movie nights as well as maintenance of the area’s many alleyways.
The community held a clean-up of Kingston Frost Park in March together with Auckland Park residents and ADT. Just a month after the event, they held a movie night for their fellow Brixton community members.
Stalls are available to members of the public for R30 and only home-made goods are allowed to be sold. The event will not only be all about stalls and activities as entertainment has been planned for children as well.
