WATCH: Metrobus goes up in flames on Kingsway Avenue

A metrobus has gone up in flames on Kingsway Avenue next to Kingsway Place student accommodation in Auckland Park.

According to unconfirmed reports, the petrol tank exploded causing loud bangs which some mistook for gunshots.

A loud bang can be heard in the video followed by screams.

Emergency services are on scene. No injuries have been reported.
