VICTORY PARK – King David High School Victory Park computer boffs put the school on the map.

Computers, their applications and programming are a piece of cake for a few King David High School Victory Park youngsters.

Brandon Sussman in Grade 11 and Jordan Arenstein and Jared Greenstein in Grade 12s participated in the South African Computer Programming and Computer Application Olympiads.

After an excellent performance in the first round, all three qualified for the second provincial round.

Of the three, Arenstein took home gold in the second round and a bronze in the final. Although his fellow matriculant qualified, Greenstein was unable to compete due to a clash with his matric music preparations.

Arenstein is now ranked 2nd in Gauteng and 3rd in South Africa, an achievement his school is proud of.
