Hentie Arlow, a Mayweather fan, said, “This is a boxing match not UFC [Ultimate Fighting Championship]. McGregor is used to UFC fights that go on for 10 minutes, this is a different game, he won’t make it.”

McGregor fan Tlotli Ntshole believed the Irishmen would win due to his aggression and experience in knocking people out. After four rounds, Leo Makumire admitted that this was a challenge for Mayweather and McGregor had put him under pressure from the first bell.

McGregor’s steam ran out after the fifth round as he began to succumb to his fatigue. He had his hands down and started taking more and more hits. By the eighth round, the mood in the club was pro-Mayweather with all the McGregor fans making peace with what was about to happen.

“I think he has the ability but he lacks the experience,” said Sean Rose, a McGregor fan after round 9 went to Mayweather. “I don’t see him winning now.”

In the 10th round, Mayweather went for the win, and with every punch that he threw, attendees were ducking and weaving as they imitated what McGregor needed to do.
