Singer Vusi Nova survives kidnapping, hijacking

MELVILLE – According to the Brixton Police Station, Vusi Nova was hijacked at his Melville home.

The Brixton Police Station confirmed that singer Vusi Nova was found unharmed after being hijacked and kidnapped.

According to Jeanette Backhof, spokesperson for the Brixton Police Station, he was hijacked at his Melville home during the early hours of this morning.

Backhof explained that he was coming back from a performance when he was targeted by three men in a silver Polo and a Bantam bakkie of an unknown colour. She said Nova was taken to Soweto during the ordeal, but later found his way back home.

Nova was not alone during the ordeal, but Backhof explained that more information will be made available once statements have been taken and a case registered with the Brixton police.
