A video has emerged on Facebook of a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) hitting a car before crashing into a Roosevelt Park home’s wall.
The incident took place on the afternoon of 16 July.
The video shows what appears to be a black Kia Sportage overtaking another car of an unknown make just before the Preller Drive and Fairbairn Road intersection.
Just as the other car was about to turn into Fairbairn Road, the Kia came rushing past and hit the car causing the driver to lose control of the SUV and crashing into a wall.
Fortunately, both drivers only sustained minor injuries and no people were in the yard when the wall collapsed.
