Bagpipes to serenade the neighbourhood

VICTORY PARK – Witness the goosebumps moments when 200 bagpipe players serenade the crowd.

It’s almost that time of year again to hear the sounds of bagpipes resonating around the neighbourhood at the Highland Gathering.

De La Salle Holy Cross College in Victory Park, are proud to be hosting the event again this year on 27 May.

As always there will be Scottish dancers, giant inflatables, zip-lining, a boat swing and a tea and beer garden.

The highlight of the gathering is definitely the grand finale at 3.30pm with a 200-strong pipe and drum performance.

Goosebumps are felt for kilometres around as the crowd is serenaded by songs such as Flower of Scotland and Amazing Grace.
