Boxes full of love

MELVILLE – Hotel Hope Ministries plan to put their generous donation from Character Group to good use and also share it with other charities.

Hotel Hope Ministries were delighted when representatives of the Character Group South Africa donated various much-needed items to their organisation, ahead of the chilly winter season.

The non-profit organisation is dedicated to opening their hearts to orphaned mothers and children to ensure they grow up in a happy and healthy home. The handover took place at Hotel Hope Ministries in Melville and was truly an exciting occasion for everyone who was present.

The brand new donated items are welcomed by members of Hotel Hope Ministries.

Character Group director Saul Weiner said their organisation was very supportive of welfare initiatives given the high number of social problems in the country.

“We are involved in various initiatives and homes that we look after on a regular basis,” said Weiner. “Today our team decided that we are going to give our a big donation to Hotel Hope and we are very proud to support and help look after the children. We donated items such as towels, blankets, facecloths, bedding, winter warmers and toiletries.

“There’s a nice mixture of items that we hope the children will enjoy and hopefully they will get some good use out of it.”
