A suspect, who is also linked to a mugging on Anreith Road in Roosevelt Park, was arrested for dagga possession in Florida on 19 April.

This according to Linden Police Station, spokesperson Captain Walter Spencer, who said the suspect was also travelling in the same red VW Polo implicated in the mugging on 9 April.
“Only after the suspect is identified in an I.D parade will we be able to implicate the suspect. The case is still under investigation,” said Spencer.
The incident took place in full view of a street guard who was standing only a few metres away and allegedly did nothing.
