BREAKING: Young woman missing after hijacking

NEWCLARE – Police search for young woman who was hijacked in Newclare in the early morning hours.

The Sophiatown police are investigating a car hijacking incident that happened in Newclare in the early hours of this morning (27 October).

A 21-year-old woman, who was in the car when it was hijacked, is still missing.

Warrant Officer TJ de Bruyn, the police spokesperson, said the missing woman’s name is Bodine Hoffman.

He also confirmed that the car that was hijacked in the early morning hours on 27 October is a white BMW e30 Turbo four-door car.

“Anyone with information who can help the police in their investigation, and in our search for Bodine, can contact the Sophiatown Police at 011 670 6300,” said De Bruyn.

According to De Bruyn the car’s number plates are CCT040GP. However, the number plates could have been removed since the hijacking took place,” said De Bruyn.
