UPDATE: #FeesMustFall continues
BRAAMFONTEIN – Despite a heavy police presence, students still continue with the protest.
Students of the University of the Witwatersrand have continued their #FeesMustFall protest, despite a heavy police presence.
Wits staff returned to the university this morning after it was revealed that the academic programme would resume tomorrow, 4 October.
Students have made their way to different parts of the university, marching and singing along. Shops at The Matrix have closed down after staff members in some buildings were allegedly intimidated and asked to leave.
