Deutsche Internationale Schule Johannesburg Kindergarten pupils celebrated Teddy Bear Festival recently.
Pupils were allowed to bring their favourite teddies to school and enjoy a picnic where themes of sharing and friendship were encouraged. The event is an annual one for the youngsters. Principal of the school, Brigitte Helmrich said, “The pupils walked down to the field and enjoyed a picnic in the warm sun, naturally bringing their teddies along as well – it was quite a sight to behold,” said Helmrich.
