Linden Police shows Casa Do Sol some Easter love

LINDEN – Pick n Pay donate Easter eggs to Casa Do Sol school for special needs.

In the spirit of Easter, Linden Police together with Pick n Pay Blackheath and Pick n Pay Cresta visited Casa Do Sol School with Easter eggs.

The children of Casa Do Sol were very happy and excited to have treats brought to them for Easter on 18 March. They sang a song for Sergeant Orden Masupa and the two representatives from Pick n Pay, Susan Fratz from Blackheath and Patricia Moloi from Cresta, to show their gratitude.

Casa Do Sol School caters for children with special needs, some of them who come from disadvantaged homes. Sgt Orden Masupa said, “Linden SAPS partners with different entities like Pick n Pay to reach out and give back to the needy.”

Casa Do Sol principal Elmarie Lahoud said that she really appreciated all the help that the Linden Police have shown the school, “I am so touched by the support that the community shows us,” said Lahoud. She said that the personal touch matters, they came to the school instead of just sending money.
