Auckland Park is in the swim of things

AUCKLAND PARK – Pupils of Auckland Park Preparatory try to out do each other in the water for the House Cup.

All grade 1 to 7 girls from Auckland Park Preparatory School took part in an inter-house gala and represented their three houses: St Patrick in green, St George in red and St Andrew in blue.

The swimming pool and surrounds were alive with colour on 5 March, where many parents came out to support. The girls started the gala with their unique and well-rehearsed house dances which lifted up the house spirit.

“During the gala, some houses were neck and neck, which was very exciting, but St Andrew were ultimately victorious and won the gala and St Patrick won the Spirit Cup for the house with the best spirit. A wonderful morning was had by everyone,” said Kate Becker, school secretary.
