Six tons of water on its way

VICTORY PARK – Six tons more make De La Salle Holy Cross College's water donation total an amazing 54 tons.

De La Salle Holy Cross College in Victory Park loaded another six tons of drinking water onto a truck on 4 March.

The water was loaded to be taken to Holy Cross College Primary School in the drought-stricken Aliwal North. Thus far the school collected and distributed a record 54 tons of water.

Gratech Water and The Pump Shop in Randburg donated two JoJo tanks and a pump that has now been installed at the Holy Cross College in Aliwal North. Sister Beatrix from the school in Aliwal North, was especially excited about the donation. “Can we ever thank De La Salle Holy Cross College enough. Believe and you shall receive. God bless you all and all our benefactors,” said Sister Beatrix.
