The Spar and the Post Office in Linden Square Shopping Centre were robbed today at 11.25am.
About nine suspects arrived in two white bakkies and held up employees and customers of the Spar while they robbed them of an undisclosed amount of money, cellphones, iPads and other valuables.
Even though the suspects were armed, fortunately there were no injuries.
The Post Office was also robbed of an undisclosed amount of money and so was the Li Kou Fu Restaurant owner, next door the Post Office.
“No arrests have been made yet, the case is still under investigation,” said Captain Vermaak from Linden Police Station.
