About 1 million customers experienced irregular connection issues associated with sending SMSs, making phone calls, and data connections throughout the country.
The plight was due to a minor glitch in the nodes carrying traffic related to the affected customers.
According to MTN, the engineers worked around the clock to resolve the issue and everything is back to normal.
The operator is closely monitoring the situation and promised that it would investigate complaints that are still being received from the customers.
