Pinnochio Nursery School celebrated their 25th birthday on 5 January in Fairland.
Pinnochio was located in Windsor West and ran for an impressive 14 years, and later moved to Fairland where it has been running for another 11 years.
Nursery school owner, Donna Koopmans said that most of the teachers have been at the nursery for 10 to 25 years, “I am very proud of my teachers; they have been there for me since the beginning; they are my biggest accomplishment,” said Koopmans. Pinnochio’s first second generation pupils started at the school this year which made it tie in as a beautiful milestone.
Koopmans does not plan to open another nursery because she believes in quality and not quantity, “I want to put all my focus in one school – one is more than enough,” she said. She plans to keep the nursery as it is a happy and secure place for her pupils and staff.
“Pinnochio goes from strength to strength due to my wonderful, dedicated teachers, supportive parents and the children who make all of our memories possible,” said Koopmans.
