Water disruptions

JOBURG – Ward 117 Councillor Tim Truluck warns residents of upcoming water disruptions on 9 December.

Ward 117 Councillor Tim Truluck has warned Parktown residents to be prepared as water disruptions are expected on 9 December.

Truluck said the disruptions will commence at 9am and last for 24 hours.

Joburg Water will still be supplying water to the affected areas but residents are asked to please note they might experience low pressure to no water during the service interruption. Residents are advised to use water sparingly and only use water for drinking, toilet flushing, cooking and showering, instead of bathing,” said Trulluck.

Other affected areas in Joburg will include Waverly, Perceli, Highlands North, Fairmount, Talboton, Raedene Estate, Hawkons Estate, Oaklands, The Gardens, Cheltondale, Orchards, Maryvale, Victoria, Norwood, Orange Grove, Houghton Estates, Fellside, Rosebank, Melrose and Melrose Estate, Dunkeld, Parkwood, Saxonwold, Riviera, Houghton Estates.

Trulluck said he is aware of the inconvenience this will cause but residents should remain patient.
