GALLERY: KFC gets a new look

FERNDALE - KFC opens the first of their stores with a new look in Ferndale.

KFC launched the first of their fresh new look stores on 3 November at the KFC in Ferndale.

KFC Africa Chief Marketing Officer Mike Middleton, explained the new look has been created to reflect the three main core values of KFC.

Middleton said the first of these values is to ensure an environment with a feeling of comfort.

“More comfortable seating with greater flexibility of movement will give families and friends more freedom to relax and mingle,” said Middleton.

He further said the new look of KFC has also been created to ensure a more home-like feeling with its wooden elements, warm soft lighting and colourful and friendly graphics.

Middleton said the last of the three values is to ensure KFC’s commitment to present fresh, hand-prepared food.

“The fresh food images reflects KFC’s promise to present fresh in-store prepared food,”said Middleton.

He concluded by saying they are proud to reveal the new and exciting look of KFC.

“As industry leaders we know that reinvention is key to keeping a brand alive for our customers and we believe that we have really moved forward in terms of creating a comfortable and engaging environment where people will feel more at home,” said Middleton.

Middleton added that the new KFC will have Wifi available at every booth as well as cellphone and laptop charging points.

“Every booth will also have the option of a one-directional speaker through which a genre of music can be selected to listen to while snacking on KFC,” said Middleton.

Eight hundred KFC stores across South Africa will adapt the new look.
