Bake ‘n take

Honeybees Play Centre in Parktown will hold baking classes for children from three – five years. This will take place on 28 September and 5, 12 and 19 October and teaches children to use all five senses to cook and bake.

They will learn how to whip, cut, chop and prepare various sweet and savoury dishes.

Jump N Play Preschool holiday care

Jump N Play Preschool in North Riding will provide full holiday care daily from 6am until 6pm from 5 – 9 October. At a price of R150 per day (sibling discounts apply) breakfast, lunch and snacks are included . The theme will be summer and water activities.

Ski Deck

Ski Deck in Ferndale, will be available from 6 – 8 October and it will provide fun activities such as trampolines, slides into a pool and a jungle gym. Snacks and lunch will be provided at a cost of R300 per child. The doors open at 10am and close at 4.30pm. These activities are for children from age two – five years. Details: Amy on 011 781 6528.

Cricket Camp with Cricket Mentor

From 5 – 7 October children can participate in a cricket camp that will cost R600 for the three days. The workshop will take place at the Old Parktonian Sports Club in Bordeaux and is suitable for children from seven – 13 years. Details: Dave Nosworthy on 083 225 8996.

Physical Science and Chemistry workshops

These workshops are for Grade 12 pupils who are preparing for their examinations on 7 – 8 October from 9am –12pm at Sunshine Tutors in Auckland Park. Details: Sunshine Tutors 071 355 3487.
